Today we hire plant, cars and vans, holiday properties and event spaces, and supply building materials — all from the same team, the same site, and the same phone number. It's a simple idea that our customers tell us is surprisingly rare: whether you need a 13-tonne tracked excavator on site by morning, a van for the weekend, a pallet of blocks delivered to the door, or a cottage for a family break, one enquiry reaches the people who can sort it.

Where it began

We began in plant hire, and it's still at the heart of what we do. From humble hand tools to micro diggers, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers and full-size excavators, we built a reputation on well-maintained kit, fair rates and quotes that actually turn up when we say they will. That reputation is backed by our membership of the Hire Association Europe (HAE) and our SafeHire certification — independent assurance that the equipment we send out is safe, serviced and ready to work.

As our customers' needs grew, so did we. Builders who hired our diggers asked about aggregates and timber, so we started supplying materials. Families and tradespeople needed vehicles, so we added cars, vans and 4×4s. And when we invested in property, it made sense to open our holiday lets and venues to the same people who already trusted us. Four trades, one team — because the people who rely on us would rather make one call than four.

What keeps us going

We're still family-run, and we still believe the old-fashioned things matter most. A real person answers the phone. Enquiries are replied to quickly, not filed away. Prices are honest, with no surprises at the end. And every customer — from the DIY homeowner to the long-term site contractor — gets the same straight-talking service.
